You are paying the deposit for the program only. Please read the description below on how you will be billed for the $1450 tuition and remaining gear due for the program. If you have questions, email us at before you register, as apprenticeship deposits are NOT refundable unless we do not meet the class threshold.

If you have to miss a session, you can make up to ONE SESSION with the next Apprenticeship group as long as 24 hours notice is given before that session is held!

This deposit is to secure your spot in our Spring 2023 apprenticeship program that takes place on *Fridays*.  We have a class threshold of 10.  If the minimum is not met, your deposit will be refunded.  Invoices for tuition and the remaining deposit will be sent out at the end of January 2023, once we verify our threshold has been met.

Please choose the gear option that best suits your needs.  The apprenticeship program includes hands-on instruction for 6 full Fridays and all the tools you need during the apprenticeship.  Equipment and gear options are based on your deposit choice.

  • A Two Hives Honey workbook
  • Choice of a ventilated jacket and veil or full ventilated suit
  • Lunch each session at one of Austin’s most sought after farm-to-table restaurants
  • Beverages each session

*If you already own protective gear/beekeeping tools, choose “no protective gear” for your tools and protective gear option, and we will then email you to determine what you already own and adjust your materials cost as necessary! After your initial deposit, you will owe $134 plus $1450 tuition.  If you choose to get the ventilated jacket and equipment, after your initial deposit, you will owe $315 plus $1450 in tuition.  If you choose the full suit, after your initial deposit you will owe $355 plus $1450 in tuition.

Note that you are paying the deposit for the program only. After deposit, we will contact you to determine if you’d like to pay in full or in installments. An invoice(s) with the gear balance plus tuition will then be emailed to you! If you choose to pay in full, you will save $100 off the tuition. To take advantage of savings, payment in full must be received within 30 days of registration. Payment plans will entail 2 payments.
