Red Bee Buckwheat Honey

Red Bee Honey is located in Connecticut. This is a single origin honey, which means all the nectar comes from one nectar source: buckwheat!  

Buckwheat is a grain (and contains no gluten), and buckwheat honey is very dark in color.  The color comes in part from polyphenols, the same compounds found in wine, dark chocolate, and tea, which lend these foods their bitter flavor and dark color–and also work as antioxidants.
